Coach
Growing up, I was not an athlete. My reflexes were slow, my attention span couldn’t handle an entire game of soccer during recess…sports were simply something the other people were good at. Nevertheless, I found joy in being active. Determined to find a sport I could claim, I dipped my toes into endurance training; I rowed for my high school’s crew team, played recreational soccer for a year, and in college I ran a few half marathons. At the ripe age of twenty, I found powerlifting. Initially, I just wanted to find a strength training program to help rehab some moans and groans from pounding the pavement, but I quickly fell in love with centering training around the Big Three: Squat, Bench, and Deadlift. I began lifting competitively with USA Powerlifting in 2022, and I am currently in the top 5 female athletes in my weight class in Wisconsin.
My love for strength sports led me to leave the life of a corporate drone and commit to a career in fitness; I am an NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, a certification that I chose to pursue so that I could have a deeper understanding of exercise science and how it relates to training athletes. All gymgoers, from a newbie who’s never touched a dumbbell in their life to a DI quarterback, deserve high quality coaching and guidance.
As a personal trainer, my goal is to help you build and express your strength to its fullest potential.
I believe that everyone can achieve their goals and find fulfillment in the process if they treat themselves like an athlete. I’d love to be your guide as you become the strongest version of you- let’s chat!
